This Privacy Policy explains how Cat Tree Gaming LLC, a Michigan limited liability company ("Cat Tree Gaming", "we", "us", or "our"), handles personal data across our websites, applications, products, and services (the "Services"). In short: we collect as little as we can, we use it only to run the Services, we never sell your personal data, we run no advertising or third-party tracking, and you can delete your data at any time.
This site (cattreegaming.com) is an informational website and does not itself require an account. Individual Services may collect the data described below; where a Service publishes its own privacy notice, that notice governs for that Service.
1. What We Collect
- Account identifiers — if a Service requires sign-in, identifiers from the providers you use (for example, a Discord, Steam, Epic Games, or Xbox / Microsoft account ID and the associated display name) so we can identify you within that Service.
- Service activity — data you create or generate by using a Service, such as session records, statistics, and settings.
- Authentication data — session and refresh tokens (and any API key) used solely to keep you signed in and to authorize requests.
- Minimal technical data — transient information such as IP address and request logs, used for security, abuse prevention, and keeping the Services reliable. We do not use it to build advertising profiles.
We do not intentionally collect special categories of personal data, and we ask that you not submit any.
2. How We Use Data
We use the data above only to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Services — to authenticate you, to provide the features you request, and to protect the Services and their users. We do not use your data for advertising or for automated decision-making that produces legal effects.
3. How We Share Data
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share data only:
- with service providers who process data on our behalf (such as hosting and infrastructure providers) under appropriate confidentiality obligations;
- with third-party sign-in providers you choose to use, whose handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policies;
- as part of a Service's intended function (for example, showing your display name next to your public stats); and

4. Data Retention
We keep your data while your account is active so the Services keep working, and as needed to meet legal, security, and operational requirements. Unused or guest accounts may be cleaned up automatically. When you delete your account, we remove the associated data as described below.
5. Your Choices and Rights
Where a Service supports accounts, you can generally review and delete the data tied to your account from within that Service; deleting your account removes your associated data and revokes your tokens. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights — such as access, correction, portability, or deletion. To exercise any of these, or if you cannot do so yourself, contact us at the address below and we will honor applicable requests.
6. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your data — for example, secrets are stored hashed or encrypted and access is limited. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children
The Services are not directed to children under the age required to consent to online services in your jurisdiction. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
8. International Users
The Services may be operated from, and data stored in, a country other than yours, including the United States. By using the Services you consent to processing your data in those locations.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy here and revise the "Last updated" date above.
